http://www.launchnext.com/blog/category/music/ A logahead powered blog en Tue, 02 Dec 2008 21:48:29 +0000 http://www.launchnext.com/blog/2008/02/26/sound_of_color<p>If you like music and you like colors also, you will find the new campaign for Gap&#039;s Spring 2008 collection very nice. </p> <p>Gap, the big American clothing company, together with the production company Rehab, approached five bands and singers and asked them to write a song based on a specific colour. <br /> So we have The Blakes with blue, Dntel of The Postal Service with red, Swizz Beats was given green, lovely Marié Digby took on yellow and The Raveonettes opted for black/white. </p> <p>Once all the songs were completed, five directors took on the job to create videos to accompany them, with just a rule in mind - that the video they create should reflect the colour associated with the track they&#039;ve been given. The rest was up to the directors. </p> <p>So as a result we can enjoy a dedicated website - <a href="http://www.soundofcolor.com/"><span class="caps">SOUND</span> OF <span class="caps">COLOR</span></a> with all the videos, making ofs, interviews, information about the bands and very useful information about the colours too.
